Server Swap Over
In late October, you will have noticed a dramatic change over on the
Runekeep private server. Due to stability issues, the server has
swapped to a Dodian source. This means that the private server will no
longer support any of the Silabsoft cache.

Premium Server Membership
In conjunction with this source swap, Premium Membership has been
added to the server. Premium membership, much like members on Runescape
itself, will allow users the opportunity to donate, in order to access
new areas, items, and allow easier access to train certain skills.
Users who do not have premium membership status will be some what restricted on the server.
How do you obtain Premium status?
Premium can be achieved in several ways.
1) You can donate 1m RS2 gold. Please contact BamBam or Nova if you wish to make any Runescape monetary donations.
2) Donate actual money to the site. You will then be Granted a Gold
Seal, which will allow you access to the hidden "Apply For Premium"
forum. Please contact Haste for details on donating real money.
3) Donate 10, level 3 accounts on Runescape. The accounts MUST be
walked through tutorial island. And remember to keep any XP you gain to
a minimum. You will then be Granted a Gold Seal, which will allow you
access to the hidden "Apply For Premium" forum. Please contact BamBam
through the forum with any information regarding level 3 accounts.
4) Donate a Runescape account that fits the criteria, posted in the
Donation forum. You will be able to find this in the "Donation Rules"
topic, posted by BamBam. You will then be Granted a Gold Seal, which
will allow you access to the hidden "Apply For Premium" forum. Please
contact Bambam with any information regarding donating accounts.
Once you have posted an application in the "Apply for Premium"
forum, usually either BamBam or Nova will approve of the application,
and your account status will be updated.

The 'Dup'ing' glitch
Due to a known glitch in the Dodian source, which would allow users
to duplicate items, an account scanner has been brought into the
server.
This scanner will be able to detect any duplicated items on a
users account, and then BamBam will be able to deal with them as he
sees fit.
The introduction of this scanner was welcomed by most, but for the
few unlucky users who did have duplicated items on their account, they
were banned, and confused.
As of recent, the duplicating glitch should have been taken care of. No
user on the server is to accuse any other user of duplicating items, or
you have a chance of losing your right to speech (mute). Also, no
server moderator has the right to demand any user to hand over items
which they suspect to be duplicated.

Has your gold just, disappeared lately?
Due to the item duplicating glitch, the Runekeep server economy has
gone down hill. Users have duplicated money, making excessive amounts
available to users. To help ease the struggle of the economy, we have
removed any amounts of gold higher then 100m, as it would have been
duplicated.

Rumor has it that all character files may be reset. A discussion
has been brought to the forums attention, to allow feedback on the
matter.
Users so far have approved of the idea, but said instead of
deleting the character files, only remove the items each character
contains in their inventory and bank.
This will dramatically change the server economy and prices of items.
Certain items may not be available, but if you're lucky enough, and
you're around when a server admin hosts a drop party, then you may be
able to get the items back.

F2P & Premium Item Update
On November 9th, more items were added to the non premium user
stores, just to show we still care about the F2P users on our server.
Following this, a new store, which gives users easy access to armor for
the new wilderness areas has been added in the Magic Guild.
Also added for premium users, new items have been added into the
stores in the Legends Guild. The new items include White/Gold mystic
robes, a Holy Book, an Unholy Symbol and a few other items you may want
to check out.

Player Killing
Tired of not having a player killing area where the users you
defeat lose their items? Well, as of November 10th, the Mage Arena
player killing area will now allow users to lose their items if they
are killed.
This of course will bring up the matter of Luring, but as of yet, it hasn't been much of an issue, if at all.

Skill Updates!
As of November 26, agility has been introduced into the server! The
new area, located deep in the wilderness, will allow users to raise
their agility level, while having to be careful of player killers.
Users, please remember, the area is in the wilderness, and for
that reason, users are allowed to attack other players. It may be
frustrating at times, but remember not to lose your cool.
The new area also has a jolly man roaming around it. Find him, and
you'll be granted a new little companion to follow you around.
